the minimalist skincare routine you've been looking for...

skinamalism? Yup it's a thing (and a pretty cool thing if you ask us)! Skinamalism is all about the minimalist skincare routine meaning less products (aka only using the essentials), clean products with short ingredient lists, waterless products, sustainable packaging, conscious consumerism and saying goodbye to your 12-step nightly routine.

Sound too good to be true? This is the whole reason we started My Friends Use This. We wanted simple skincare that had more than one purpose in sustainable packaging that we could actually afford.

Today, we are breaking down the MFUT (My Friends Use This) facial so you can see just how easy it actually is: 3 products. 5 minutes. flawless skin.

1) take pea sized amount of the Gotu Kola | Moringa Balm and massage into dry skin. This is a great chance to increase circulation with a little massage while you remove makeup, sunscreen, sweat and dirt off of your face. Once you’re done, take a natural fiber towel and soak it in warm water. Wring it out and place over your face to let the steam soak in, then use to remove balm from face.

2) grab a cotton round and the Gotu Kola | Moringa Mix. Give the bottle a good shake to incorporate the oil and water phases. Tip Mix onto cotton round + swipe over face to tone and cleanse without stripping your skin.

3) add a few drops of the Gotu Kola | Moringa Oil to your hands and warm between palms. Pat into skin to seal in moisture.

These three products can be bought as a Trio for $60 and last approximately 2-3 months depending on usage! Just to run some quick numbers, if they last 2 months and you use them twice a day, you're spending about $1 per day on skincare that is not only good for you, but good for the planet as well.
